BackgroundKelly Ingram is a decorative artist who works with a wide range of materials on a breadth of structures, furniture, fixtures, fittings and objects d'art. She has worked in restoration projects, commercial and residential projects and even created set designs for two seasons of the Unique Lives and Experiences series at the New Brunswick theater. Always learning and developing new techniques, employing new materials and maintaining a consistent freshness. Working in general from New York to Philadelphia, Kelly creates balance and depth to enhance light and spatial content. Gilding, trompe l'oeil, glazing, stenciling, venetian plaster, texture, ageing, graining and marbling are some of her techniques.Kelly has studied and practiced decorative arts for over 18 years and has recently added artwork to her repertoire. Starting in 1987 at the Isabel O'Neil studio in New York, Kelly learned the old ways of decorative arts and gilding. Taking this knowledge she has applied it to developed her own styles and techniques that blend modern products with old world quality and customer satisfaction. Building on her years of experience, understanding, and innovation with color, light, texture and form, Kelly is now creating unique artwork that incorporates all these elements. Using techniques that are constantly updated, she continually innovates and creates unique finishes and artwork to enhance and complement your environment.
