Waxed Venetian Plaster walls in the dining room. A subtle coral plaster in a dining room. This gives great contrast to the other elements within this room, and an ideal background for art.
A startling and strikingly elegant dining room in Venetian Plaster with suspended mica powders on the walls and a gilded ceiling. A blended glazed effect for a large space.
A squared strie. This is pictured almost complete... notice the final pieces of blue tape still on the ceiling! This finish carried into the rear hallway from the main, spacious, kitchen and breakfast area. Some finishes are easier to execute than others. Sometimes its just location... there's not a place we can't get to!
Hand painted stripes in the entrance hallway and going up stairs to the second floor provides a wonderful formal, yet friendly, elegance. From the 2004 Junior League Showhouse, Kelly's hallway was featured in the October 2004 edition of Better Homes and Gardens:

Horizontal stripes in a lacquer-like finish give a small powder room a unique and refreshing look. Two tone diamonds on the walls, with buttons at the intersections, and complementary glazing on the coffered ceiling.
Venetian Plaster in a completely remodelled New York City kitchen. Venetian Plaster in its native state, without the addition of high gloss wax.
A textured and Venetian Plaster technique was used to age the walls on a newly constructed kitchen. The view through the door shows the subtle coral Venetian Plaster and freize in the dining room. A glazed finish throughout the sun room really adds to the effect of the light and provides depth and substance for the contents, fixtures and fittings within the room.

Stencil over a light and subtle glaze to soften a bathroom. A trompe l'oeil scene in a bathroom above the bath, warms the room and gives a air of sun and warmth.
Matte venetian plaster walls at the 2006 Junior League Showhouse as a backdrop to Gina Bellando's wonderful photographs. The matte plaster allows the photographs to really stand out and be better appreciated.
