Furniture and Fittings

Furniture, fixtures and fittings can all be provided a wide range of finishes and treatments. Here are just a few.

	Mirrors are key elements of many rooms and Kelly has a wide range of finishes and techniques that can be applied including, of course, gilding.		A 1940's or 50's armoir brought back to life with a new exterior finish and a rich, contrasting, interior.
	A carved wooden hallway table given a completely new lease on life with a new finish to match its new surroundings.		A carved lamp base, refinished and aged to really bring out its character.
	A very plain chandelier rendered with a light textured finish and lightly embelished with gilded highlights.		A new fireplace surround that was rendered in a deep, rich, faux bois finish to help accent the room.
	24ct gold applied to a new, hand-made and high gloss black painted armoire. The gilding was then gently distressed by Kelly to give an additional presence of age and character to the piece. The piece was built by Allan Smith, Furniture Maker, Hopewell, NJ.		This stone-like finish was created on a kitchen stove hood to help provide ambience and warmth in a large kitchen/breakfast area.
