New Life from Life

May have thought twice,
First thought was all peachy; second thought was scary but nice.
Scared of having to grow up,
People would ask questions that will always start with what.
"What are you going to do?"
"What you think it's easy living for two?"
"What now, are you going to finish school?"
"If you don't you're just being a fool."
"Now look at you all worried about money,"
"I told you life's not a joke, taking care of a baby isn't funny."
Okay I've heard this once in my life a while ago,
This poem is about me, I just wanted to let you know.
Well I made the decision of having a baby,
I still hear this line, "Todd you're a dad that's crazy."
I would smile because I would think of my son,
Because of all the joy, happiness, and comfort come from this one.
I feel proud of what was made from me,
By my side that's where I want him to be.

T.D.B. will be our initials till we die,
We will then fly high with initials in the sky.
Two angels still living on,
Can't see us but we'll never be gone.
I've rolled that dice,
(Snake-eyes) then he came new life from life.
