This partially landscaped open lawn area is across the street from Red Oaks Park and will serve as recreational space and a gateway to the Assunpink Greenway for residents of East Trenton. Once the site of several dozen homes subjected to repeated flooding, these parcels were acquired with FEMA funding and were cleared to provide potential floodwater storage with little harm to the park. This view is toward the Clinton commerce parcel of the Assunpink Greenway.
