Renovated in 2 phases in 1998 and 2002, this park was redesigned to include a brick and bluestone entry plaza and seating area, a new playground and picnic grove and open lawn. The underutilized basketball court was converted to a tournament wiffle-ball court per the neighborhoods request and a new retaining wall was added along the rear of the park to protect several large specimen trees, as well as the court. Areas of asphalt were removed to provide additional lawn and landscape improvements were completed both at the entrance and within the park.
