This active recreation area currently contains a full sized soccer field with a large bleacher section and ample parking. A pool and bathhouse facility is located on the site and is equipped with overhead lighting for night swimming.

Plans have been developed to completely renovate the entire park. The plan provides for a full sized soccer field as well as a full sized football field. Both of these will be irrigated and lighted and will be served by new bleachers and an enclosed press box. Additional scheduled improvements include an expansion and upgrade for the pool bathhouse to accommodate several locker rooms for seasonal use of soccer and football teams. An improved parking lot will incorporate a new full size basketball court, providing room for overflow parking on a as-needed basis.

Funding for the renovation project as described above will be provided by the N.J.D.E.P., Mercer County and the City of Trenton.
