Looking south along Warren St. to the site of a recently demolished gas station, this additional lot has been designed to provide for an expansion of the Battle Monument Park  to the edge of the Delaware and Raritan Canal. The D&R Canal State Park lies on the opposite edge of the canal and provides a pedestrian/bicycle link through the city to several other city parks and historic sites.
